Boracay: A Peaceful Haven

Written By: Hannah Nuval

You wanna know what the best beach in the world looks like? This is it. This is the White Beach in Boracay in the Philippines. This white beach is 4 kilometers of pure white powdery sand.
It was my first visit here during May 2015 with my family and relatives.

Boracay, about an hour flight from the Philippine’s capital, Manila, is tiny. But, what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for on its performance. It’s a home for playing, partying, and just playing pandemonium. You would definitely love this place. A great way to see the island, is to ride the local tricycles. Four rides can just take you anywhere in the island, and it’s even cheaper for a short ride. The Philippines is made up of 7,000 islands, which for you and me, means quality seafood that is cheap and fresh. There is no shortage of things to do in Boracay. But my tip for a great day out is to head to Ariel’s Point for a spot of diving. The place i stayed in at Boracay is at Astoria which is located at the beachfront of Station 3. There are a bunch of rooms to choose from, including beautiful standard rooms.

During sunset, you can see the nice view from the beautiful beach, but at station 3, it can get crowded. It is now busy and built up but sit and watch the sail boats at sun down with a beer or cocktail and you could be in paradise.

I had a great time for myself to relax. To feel the beauty of God’s creation. In a place busy of boracay, here you find the haven of peace.
