In 2 months, legal Filipino citizens will have a chance to exercise their power in our democratic government during the 2016 Philippine National Elections. This privilege is only given once every six years. It is a right to vote because people are allowed to have their own say on who gets to rule them. Among the five running presidential candidates, who is yours?

1. Jejomar Binay

Vice President Jejomar Binay has been the mayor of Makati for many years, and is currently our Vice President in the Philippines. He was able to implement a beneficial program for the people of Makati regarding education, the senior citizens, and for many other individuals. Despite the accusations against his corruption and political dynasty, he was able to keep Makati City organized and he maintained its status of being the business district of the Philippines.

2. Rodrigo Duterte

Behind his terror face and strong attitude, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has managed to keep peace in the small city of Davao. His means of omitting peace and development for the Philippines may seem unethical to many Filipinos, but all his intentions are true and clear. Behind his rash language, he wants to eliminate crime and poverty in our country.

3. Grace Poe

Many people see Senator Grace Poe as the heart of this year's presidential elections. She appears to be very genuine of her thoughts and actions. Even if her candidacy might seem as a shock to others, and even if others claim that she has a lack of experience, she has graduated from top schools. Nothing and no one can stop her from serving our country.

4. Mar Roxas

Having been in politics for several years, Mar Roxas has experienced the many trials a politician faces in his period of service. He has been through different kinds of positions in the government, which makes him qualified for the position. He graduated in top schools and has obtained high educational attainments. Although, people see him as an elite and an unapproachable candidate who is not close with the masses. Even with that being said, Mar Roxas is a trusted politician especially with regards to financial activities.

5. Miriam Defensor Santiago

Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago has been a known senator for many years. Her intelligent mind allows her to recall almost every inch of the Philippine Law. She knows the rules that must be abided as well as those that need not be crossed. She has a firm stand on what she believes in and she will think of any way possible to make our country a better place. The question is, will her health affect her candidacy? And what if she's only good in implementing laws, but not in ruling a country?

Eyebrows are a great place to start with makeup because they can affect your overall look. You could do or use a lot of techniques for your eyebrows, you can use eyeshadow to fill in your brows or brow pencil for an easier application. Below are the list of products that I recommend.

Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade 5.0 –My ultimate favorite brow product, it’s like wax and powder mixed as one. This pomade gives my brows a nice shape and color. It is pigmented so it lasts all day so you don’t have to worry about it smudging.

Nars Brow Gel 4.0 –A simple brow gel that works really good but it’s a bit messy. The wand is a standard-style mascara wand. This brow gel dries perfectly leaving your brows with color and held in position but a bit too stiff so it doesn’t really look natural.

H&M Brow and Spoolie Brush 5.0 –It’s very cheap and worthy, I use it with the Anastasia Pomade and it works perfectly together.

Make Up Forever Brow Seal 4.5 –A nice complement for Anastasia Pomade. It seals the brows and makes it look more natural. This product can also be used as a clear mascara

So I wanted to do my first 'Holy Grail Makeup Products' post. I love seeing these posts/YouTube videos from other people so I thought I'd start posting this. I actually wouldn't consider this like the best high end makeup, this is my favorite makeup.

I enjoy having a good nose in other people's makeup collection - particularly the ensemble of products inside the darkest depths of their everyday bags. I'm gonna be talking about makeup products that are worth the splurge, because sometimes, it's nice to know what makeup is worth it out there.

NAKED 3 Palette

I have had this eyeshadow palette for about 6 months now, so I had a lot more time to play around with it, it took me a little while to figure out how I feel about it, because it is so different in my opinion anyway from the Original Naked Palette and the Naked 2 Palette.

So this palette retails for 2k +, but i bought mine at Pure Beauty which is located at Serendra, so I bought it there for 3k +. And you get 12 full size eyeshadows and they’re all brand new colors which I think is really cool, and also in addition to that you get a double sided brush. It also comes with samples which is the urban decay primer potion as well. The case is kind of a rose gold color and it is like a metal type of case similar to the Naked 2 palette.

I have to say I do like the packaging because i think it represents the colors in the palette as well. I do feel like this collection of eyeshadows is just so feminine and girly and that’s kind of the whole idea of its collection of rose, hued and neutrals. The first thing that caught my eye about it is just how beautiful the colors are. The shadows have that really smooth, soft texture that I think it’s typical of a lot of the urban decay eyeshadows, this is what I like about their eyeshadows, because they’re very easy to work with, to blend, the color pay-off, they’re nice because they’re so soft from the brush to your eyes.

Powder Blush / MAC Ellie Goulding (I'll Hold My Breathe)

I just got this new MAC product which is the Ellie Goulding collaboration collection which recently launched in the Philippines for a week or so. I don't think it is something that everybody necessarily wants, as Ellie Goulding is obviously very very pale, and the collection was made obviously based around her skin tone. It's a very neud, warm, brown, sort of collection.

This is the powder blush duo in "I'll Hold My Breathe". Inside of it, you get a big mirror, and you get a contour color, or bronzer, and a blush. The blush is so beautiful, it's gives you a really nice, soft, very pinky sheen to the cheeks. And on the contour, it does have a triangle shaped with Ellie Goulding's initials which is "E.D.", The contour color is actually really light, and it does actually have a shimmer to it, it's quite fair.

Ben Nye Luxury Loose Powder

I also got this product from Pure Beauty which costs Php 799. The Ben Nye Loose powder, they come in different sizes, this is the 3.0z which is medium sized. The powder is nearly identical to high end brands, it's very fine and mild, it is absolutely beautiful. The only cons of this is it comes with a sifter, which means it has little holes, and you have to sift it out, and apply, that's the only negative. Other than that, if you're looking for a high end brand it has a really nice packaging. 3.oz is a huge amount, it sets the face absolutely beautiful. It comes with a whole range of colors which is the Banana, Buff, Cameo, and Beige Suede which means most of you with white skin, and people with really deep skin can really brighten up the face, and it you're not fond of the matte look, you can always spray your face with a setting spray or MAC fix plus. Otherwise, this is an absolutely 100% top ready product.

Set the primer and use it as a base on your lids.

I mixed buck and naked to add depth to the crease.

It also acts as transition color for the night look.

Add this shade to brighten up your eyes!

Draw a straight line to darken the look a bit.

To complete the look, swipe a coat of mascara to make the eyes pop.

8. URBAN DECAY "CREEP"

An easy way to transform a look is to add a dark shade on the outer V, I added the shade called 'creep'

to make it an appropriate night time look. I then just extended my eyeliner, and thats it!

My family and I had a very memorable experience going here and we were able to do a lot of things despite the summer heat. We went island hoping, you could check out the secret lagoon in Shell Beach, Camantiles Island. Though my favorite island that we went to is the Governor's Island because they had a killer view deck and a tiny cave that you can explore. There's also an island called Marcos Island named after President Ferdinand Marcos were you could jump off a 70-foot drop and swim underwater and discover the infamous underwater cave called "Imelda."

If you're on a budget, don't sweat! Hundred Islands National Park offers a variety of activities that comes in a cheaper price that you could definitely afford. Those activities include kayaking for Php 250-300/tandem and snorkeling for Php 150-300/gear. You should also try their famous Alaminos Longganisa which is Php 75-85/ dozen. If you're looking to stay the night and dine, they also offer affordable accommodations and food that would fit your taste.

One day, me and my friend were so hungry because we just came back from school. So we were thinking of looking for a restaurant that was near my place and had new and tasty food. The nearest place we thought of was Circuit Makati located in Circuit Lane, A. Reyes Avenue, Brgy. Carmona, Makati City. When we arrived the place we looked around first but at the end we chose a restaurant named Wingstop.

This place is designed not just to give you a taste of American flavors but also to make you and your companions have a good time .

I really had a wonderful time tasting American cuisine in Wingstop. I got to taste their cheezy fries and at the same time also their very saucy boneless barbeque bites and i have got to say that every bite was totally worth it. In my opinion, there was really nothing wrong with the food that i had that day and their service was very good. Will i come back here? Yes indeed.

Teenagers are becoming more insecure with their appearances and having a pimple on our face is not helping.

Want that pimple to disappear? Do these 7 tips for a more healthy and flawless looking skin!

Cleanse

Before cleansing, its important to remove any makeup that you've worn for the day. Use soft towelettes or oil to remove them without hurting the skin from the constant scrubbing. Cleansing will remove any dirt, oil or bacteria that will cause breakouts. Use a skin cleanser suited for your skin type.

Tone

Many people tend to skip the toner after cleansing but its essential for you to do this step because it balances the pH of your skin and preps it for moisturizing. Look for toners without alcohol, which can severely dry your skin.

Moisturize

Its important for our skin to be hydrated. Moisturizing can prevent our skin from drying up and looking dull. We want our skin to remain soft and smooth what better way to do that is to use moisturizer.

Apply Sunscreen

Applying sunscreen when going out can be a huge help and can make your face even out your skin tone and protect it from the sun.

Exercise

Exercise increases the oxygen circulating in our body which helps the skin stay vibrant and healthy.

Clear skin starts from within, start eating food rich in Vitamin A, E & C to have clear skin.
